In collaboration with the Valter Longo Foundation and Lingua Viva, the language school of the Italian Cultural institute in Los Angeles, join us for A Focus on Semolina Pasta. Our Chef of La Scuola will share the secrets behind one of Italy’s simplest and most delicious pastas famous from the Southern end of the boot. Not only is it a unique preparation for hand made pasta, but it is a healthy source of food for energy and more. Let’s take a quick trip to the South with the Chef of La Scuola to explore the intricate pasta made in the South. In this class, guests will:

Explore the traditional style of making with Semolina flour in Southern Italy.
Discover the health benefits of semolina flour-based pasta and the different sauces paired.
Try your own hand at preparing semolina pasta with the guidance of our Chef of La Scuola.
Enjoy a southern inspired dish prepared by Chef of La Scuola with a complementary glass of wine.

Please note for this class, we are not able to accommodate gluten allergy for class activity. A meal with a gluten free pasta can be served. Our facility is not certified celiac free, there may be trace amounts of cross contamination.
