An Afternoon of Opera: “Opera, Story & Song”

One of Fondazione Italia’s students, Francesca Taylor, has launched a wonderful new organization called “Opera Italia – LA” that marries her love of the Italian language and Italian Opera. Opera Italia – LA’s first opera and dinner event will feature arias by Rossini, Verdi, and Mozart followed by the mini-opera, “The Telephone” by Gian Carlo Menotti. The entire first half will be sung in Italian, with subtitles in English.
