Our “Teatrando!” course combines the fundamentals of Italian language learning with basic theater techniques, creating a supportive space where you can practice speaking Italian while having fun. Each weekly one-hour class follows a carefully structured approach that builds both confidence and competence.

Class Structure:

1. Analisi del testo (Text Analysis)
   We’ll explore simple Italian dialogues and short scenes, breaking down vocabulary and grammar in context.
2. Pronuncia (Pronunciation)
   Master authentic Italian sounds through targeted exercises that help you speak clearly and confidently.
3. Intonazione (Intonation)
   Learn the musical rhythm and flow of Italian speech patterns that give the language its distinctive character.
4. Trucchi di memorizzazione (Memorization Techniques)
   Discover effective strategies to remember vocabulary, phrases, and dialogue lines with ease.
5. Interpretazione come “ascolto e reazione” (Interpretation as “Listening and Reacting”)
   Develop your comprehension skills by focusing on responsive interactions with fellow performers.
6. Messinscena (Staging)
   Put everything together by performing simple scenes, gaining confidence in your Italian speaking abilities.
