What Textbooks Don’t Teach You

Description

This fun, hands-on workshop will teach you what Italian grammar books don’t. For example, do you know what ‘Boh!‘ and ‘Mah‘ mean? How about ‘Manco‘  or ‘Come mai‘? These are just a small example of the various idiomatic and colloquial expressions Italians use every day but it is almost impossible to find out what they mean and how to use them in textbooks. This workshop will teach you the most common ones, will put them in context, and will allow students to practice them in class so that the next time you are in Italy or are hanging out with Italians you will sound exactly like one of them! This workshop is intended for students that already have a mid-beginning level and up knowledge of Italian (Italian 102 and up from our level classification). Our grammar workshops are not intended for students who have never studied Italian before. Your teacher is Lorena.
