Opera Italia LA‘s next performance is the production of Gaetano Donozetti’s, “Il Campanello di Notte” (“The Night Bell). This comic opera is melodrama “giocoso” in one act with an inconsequential plot based around the attempts of Enrico to disrupt the post-nuptial celebrations of Don Annibale Pistacchio, an apothecary, and his new bride Serafina.
