Originally from Lake Como, Italy, Elisa is an Italian teacher, a screenwriter, playwright, Italian dialogue coach, and passionate Italian movie lover and aficionado. Elisa started her career as a staff writer for Comedy Central in Italy then worked for other production companies before moving to Los Angeles. Her plays have been produced in Los Angeles, Chicago, Michigan and Berlin, Germany and her play, “It Hits You When You Know It”, became a movie in 2020.  She sold two screenplays that were made into movies in 2021. Elisa was one of the selected artists at The Orchard Project Episode Lab 2024 where she developed her TV show, “the End-All” about a shattered but determined medical director who runs an illegal assisted suicide clinic. Elisa is a playwright member of EST/LA, Ensemble Studio Theatre West and has been a member of The Actors Studio West. She has been teaching Italian since 2020. Elisa is excited to announce that one of her plays will be produced in Monza, Italy, in 2026.
