Non ti followo,” Fondazione Italia, in collaboration with the Consulates General of Italy in Los Angeles & San Francisco and the Italian Cultural Institutes of Los Angeles & San Francisco, invited K-12 students to participate in a video contest that will showcase their creativity and connection to the Italian language.  Students in grades K-12 were to create a short “TikTok” style video in Italian that uses an English word that has been “Italianized” and is being used by today’s youth (“giovani”). For example, a text “chat” has created the new slang verb “chattare” in Italian so a student may film themselves having a conversation in which they use the verb “chattare.” can also consider get creative and have fun with their videos!
