Ceramic Workshop! Creare in Italiano
Description
Creare in Italiano is a unique in-person workshop that combines ceramics and Italian language learning. Led by Italian ceramist and Italian teacher, Julka Ossolo, participants will learn and practice Italian while creating their own ceramic piece in a relaxed, creative setting. You’ll shape clay, build confidence, and pick up new vocabulary along the way! This workshop is designed to be joyful and immersive, bringing together creativity, culture, and community. Students will not only create and take home a handmade ceramic piece but also new words, expressions, and confidence in the Italian language. All Italian levels welcome — no ceramic experience needed.
Project: Make your own pinch pot inspired by Italian culture — from snack bowl for l’aperitivo to a gelato cup or espresso tazzina with spoon (all materials, clay, tools, glazes, and firing included in workshop price)
What You’ll Learn:
- How to make a clay pinch pot
- Italian words related to ceramics and culture
- Express simple sentences in Italian about your creation

For workshops we do not provide refunds once you have enrolled in the workshop. If you cannot make the class, please let us know in writing at least 24 hours before the scheduled workshop and we can provide you with a credit to attend another workshop.
