You know that feeling — you’re mid-conversation in Italian, and suddenly your brain freezes. Wait, is it gli or lo? Do I use the passato prossimo or the imperfetto here? Prepositions… don’t even get me started. If you’ve been studying Italian at a pre-intermediate or intermediate level and there are grammar points that have been haunting you all year, this summer series was made for you. Every Tuesday in June, we’re tackling one of the grammar topics that trips up English speakers the most — breaking it down, building it back up, and making it actually stick. Think of it as a grammar tune-up: no fluff, no filler, just the stuff you actually need — taught, in English, in a way that is engaging, dynamic, and yes, even fun.  Sign up just for one or all four! The Line-Up

Week 1 — June 3 | Direct & Indirect Object Pronouns Lo, la, li, le, gli, le, ci, ne… Sound familiar? These little words pack a massive punch in Italian, and knowing how to use them — and when to combine them — is a total game changer. We’ll untangle the confusion once and for all.
Week 2 — June 10 | Reflexive Verbs Why does everyone alzarsi and vestirsi in Italian when in English we just “get up” and “get dressed”? Reflexive verbs are everywhere in Italian daily life, and mastering them will make your speech sound infinitely more natural and fluid.
Week 3 — June 17 | Passato Prossimo vs. Imperfetto Ah, the classic showdown. This is the one that keeps intermediate learners up at night. We’ll give you the clarity, the logic, and the practice you need to finally feel confident choosing between these two essential past tenses.
Week 4 — June 24 | Prepositions In, a, da, di, su, per, con, tra… Italian prepositions are notoriously tricky, and no, you can’t always translate them directly from English. We’ll map out the patterns, tackle the exceptions, and give you strategies that actually work.
