Italian in a Week: Crash Course to Ready

Every day for one week, join us online from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, leaving you the rest of the day free to practice, plan, or simply enjoy your last few days before takeoff. Each class focuses on one real travel situation, taught by instructors who have seen it all and know exactly what you need (and do not need) to know. Along the way, you will pick up insider advice on what to do, what to skip, where the locals actually shop, and the idiomatic expressions that make you sound less like a tourist and more like a traveler who belongs there. Role-play exercises throughout the week mean you will not just learn the words; you will practice using them, so you walk off the plane ready!

What You’ll Learn:

• Day 1-July 20 – First Impressions: Italian pronunciation made simple, friendly greetings and key words, introducing yourself and others, and talking about yourself (where you are from, where you live, how long you will be in Italy).
• Day 2-July 21 – Finding Your Way: asking for and understanding directions, and asking for information and recommendations on places to visit.
• Day 3-July 22 – Ordering Like a Local: how to ask for and order what you want, food and drink and beyond.
• Day 4-July 23 – Shopping and Small Emergencies: shopping with confidence, and handling small health issues at the farmacia.
• Day 5-July 24 – On the Move: getting around by train, renting a car, and getting gas (trickier than it sounds).
