Creare in Italiano: Aperitivo Set
Description
Creare in Italiano is a unique in-person adult only workshop that combines ceramics and Italian language learning. Led by Italian ceramist and Italian teacher, Julka Ossola, participants will learn and practice Italian while creating their own ceramic piece in a relaxed, creative setting. You’ll shape clay, build confidence, and pick up new vocabulary along the way! This workshop is designed to be joyful and immersive, bringing together creativity, culture, and community. Students will not only create and take home a handmade ceramic piece but also new words, expressions, and confidence in the Italian language. All Italian levels welcome — no ceramic experience needed.
Project: Make your own aperitivo set! While you make your own tray with two small bowls you will learn about the very important pre dinner social ritual of the aperitivo (all materials, clay, tools, glazes, and firing included in workshop price).
What You’ll Learn:
- How to use clay to make everyday shapes
- Italian words and phrases related to Italian traditions
- Express simple sentences in Italian about your creation
Minimum of four students is needed to hold the workshop.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
For workshops we do not provide refunds once you have enrolled in the workshop. If you cannot make the class, please let us know in writing at least 24 hours before the scheduled workshop and we can provide you with a credit to attend another workshop.
