Italian 102 – 60 min

New Italian Espresso 1 Textbook

New Italian Espresso 1 Workbook

Description

Italian 102 is an online course designed for students with a mid-level beginning knowledge of Italian. Get ready to supercharge your Italian in just 10 weeks!

Here’s what you’ll conquer:

  • Master the present tense: Those tricky irregular verbs like “piacere” (to like) and “uscire” (to go out) will be no match for you!
  • Talk like a true Italian: Learn to describe your city like a pro, ask for and give directions with confidence, and even express yourself when things don’t go quite as planned (think “Vorrei parlare con il manager, per favore” – I’d like to speak with the manager, please).
  • Unleash your inner timekeeper: Telling and asking for the time will become second nature.
  • Holiday hustle? No sweat! Learn how to talk about your past vacations in Italian and prepare for future adventures.
  • Bonus Level: Unlock essential adverbs, conquer noun-adjective agreement, and navigate prepositions with ease.
  • All our online classes are recorded. Students receive the link to the recording the day after each class. Join the course from anywhere, anytime, and fit your studies into your busy schedule.

This course is more than just vocabulary and grammar. We’ll dive into Italian culture, giving you the confidence to navigate real-life situations with plenty of time to talk! Your teacher is Barbara for the Fall Session, Lorena and Antonella for the Winter 2025 Session and Francesca for the Spring 2025 Session.
