Italian 501 – 60 min
Description
Italian 501 is a low-advanced 10-week course designed for adult learners who have achieved a high level of fluency and wish to refine their mastery of Italian through deeper cultural, social, and linguistic exploration. This level challenges students to express complex ideas with precision and elegance while engaging in thought-provoking discussions on contemporary Italian society and culture.
Through interactive online 60-minute lessons, participants will practice argomentare and motivare their opinions, indicare le ragioni di una tesi, and commentare statistiche and current phenomena using advanced expressions and cohesive discourse strategies. Special attention is given to espressioni per descrivere l’andamento di un fenomeno and vocabulary related to la famiglia contemporanea, allowing students to discuss modern Italian realities with fluency and sophistication.

What if Class Has Started?
For our adult classes we can accept new students once a course has started on a case-by-case basis up to mid-way through the course. If you join a course late, the course fee will be pro-rated so that you don’t pay for the lessons you missed before joining the class. Contact us.

For this course the textbook we will using is NEW Italian Espresso 2 and NEW Italian Espresso 2 Workbook. You can purchase the books along with your course at the time of registration or you can purchase them from our bookstore at a later date.
