Description
Give your child the gift of language with Parlo Italiano 1A (“I Speak Italian”), a vibrant and interactive online Italian immersion course designed for curious minds ages 7 to 11. Perfect for beginners, this 15-week course is the first part of a two-part annual program and assumes no prior knowledge of Italian. At this age, children are especially primed to absorb new languages—boosting cognitive development, enhancing memory and problem-solving skills, and strengthening overall academic performance. Plus, learning Italian opens the door to rich cultural traditions, global awareness, and new friendships. During the course, students will meet once a week for 60-minute online lessons, where they’ll dive into Italian through games, songs, engaging conversations, and fun reading and writing activities. All instruction is conducted entirely in Italian to encourage natural language acquisition in a fully immersive environment. Students should already be able to read and write in English, as the course will begin to build those same foundational skills in Italian. What if Class Has Started?
For this course we can accept new students once classes have started on a case-by-case basis up to mid-way through the course. If you join a course late, the course fee will be pro-rated so that you don’t pay for the lessons you missed before joining the class. Please contact us if you wish to join this course.

For this course the teacher has chosen to use the Arriviamo! 1 textbook and workbook. You can purchase the books along with your course at the time of registration or you can purchase them from our bookstore at a later date.
