Is your child entering the Full Immersion Italian at Benjamin Franklin Elementary in Glendale? Give them a head start with our fun and interactive “Ciao Kindergarten!” summer program!

This 4-week program, designed specifically for children entering Kindergarten, introduces them to the wonderful world of Italian in a relaxed and engaging environment. Each weekly session lasts 45 minutes, providing the perfect balance of learning and play.

What will your child experience?

• Familiarization with Italian Sounds: Through songs, games, and activities, your child will begin to recognize and practice the unique sounds of the Italian language.
• Building Basic Vocabulary: We’ll introduce essential classroom vocabulary and everyday words your child will hear in Kindergarten. This will include common phrases like “alza la mano” (raise your hand), “torna al tuo banco” (go to your desk), and “domande?” (questions?).
• Making New Friends: The program provides a welcoming space for your child to connect with other future Kindergarteners, easing the transition into the new school year.
• Having Tons of Fun: Learning a new language should be enjoyable! We’ll use a variety of engaging activities like storytelling, and interactive games to keep your child excited and motivated.
