Description
Italian 100 is designed for busy adults with zero to limited Italian experience who want to master the essentials of Italian while in a conversation-oriented environment. This Italian language course focuses on building a strong foundation in Italian that will equip students to hold basic conversations with confidence.
Italian 100 is offered in either weekly 60-minute lessons over ten weeks or biweekly 60-minute lessons over five weeks. The exact same content is covered, the biweekly course just covers it in half the time!
What You’ll Learn:
- Confident Pronunciation: Master the Italian alphabet and sounds to speak with clarity.
- Essential Vocabulary: Build a practical base of words and phrases for everyday use.
- Conversational Skills: Get comfortable engaging in simple conversations about greetings, numbers, and common situations.
- Grammar Fundamentals: Understand basic noun genders and numbers, subject pronouns, and definite and indefinite articles.
- Present Tense Verbs: Learn to conjugate core verbs in the present tense.

What if Class Has Started?
For our adult classes we can accept new students once a course has started on a case-by-case basis up to mid-way through the course. If you join a course late, the course fee will be pro-rated so that you don’t pay for the lessons you missed before joining the class. Please contact us to join a class after it has started.Textbook Info
For this course the textbook we will using is NEW Italian Espresso 1 and New Italian Espresso 1 Workbook. You can purchase the books along with your course at the time of registration or you can purchase them from our bookstore at a later date.
