Camp Information & Policies

Cancellation/Refunds: No refunds for camp tuition can be issued after June 2, 2024. No exceptions including for COVID. Requests for refunds must be made in writing.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up: A parent/guardian will be required to sign in and sign out their camper each day and answer entry health assessment questions. Only one parent/guardian will be allowed per camper during drop-off and pick-up. Persons other than the parent/guardian authorized by you on the registration forms to pick up your camper must present a photo I.D.

Essentials: Please be sure you send your child to camp with the following items that are labeled with your child’s name:

*   Water bottle
*   Hat
*   Lunch box with snack and lunch
*   Backpack/bag to hold items
*   Sunblock

Snacks & Lunch: Campers must bring their own snacks and lunches. We are a nut and candy-free zone. Please be sure not to include any type of nuts in your children’s lunches as we have several campers with allergies. Please also provide your child with plenty of water to drink as the water fountains will not be available for use. Please explain to your child that there will be no sharing of any food items at camp and that masks will be required inside the Dunsmore community room but not outside during free play and outdoor activities.

Clothes & Shoes: Please send your child to camp wearing closed-toed shoes. Flip-flops are not permitted. We will be doing a lot of games that include movement so make sure that your child is dressed comfortably.

Sun Safety: Although most of the park is shaded with beautiful mature trees, please make sure you apply plenty of sunblock to your child before dropping them off to camp and provide a hat for them if they are especially sensitive to the sun. We will have sunblock in the event you forget to apply it.

Injury Policy: If your child is injured in any way while under our care, we will immediately call you to advise you of what has happened and decide together, based on the situation, what the best course of action should be.

Absences: There are no makeup days for days missed due to sickness or travel, or any other reason. Parents are financially responsible for all days that their child is registered to attend. There will be no prorating of tuition for missed days.
