Parlo Italiano 2A

Description

Parlo Italiano 2A is the first part of our engaging high-beginner to pre-intermediate level annual Italian immersion program, designed for children ages 7 to 11 who have completed Parlo Italiano 1B or have prior experience with the Italian language. This Fall Session online or in-person course (September-December)  features 60-minute weekly lessons, taught entirely in Italian to provide a fully immersive learning environment. At this stage, students continue to strengthen their foundational skills while progressing into more advanced areas of language development. Learners will focus on expanding their conversation skills, reading comprehension, and listening abilities, while also building more complex writing and grammar structures. Fun, interactive activities, games, and stories keep students engaged as they begin to use Italian more confidently and independently. By this level, students are not only enhancing communication but also developing important academic skills such as paragraph writing, vocabulary retention strategies, and critical thinking in a second language. All enrolling students should already be comfortable reading and writing in English, as these skills will continue to support their progress in Italian.
