A Message from the Italian Language Foundation

The Italian Language Foundation hopes that you and your families are healthy and safe. We realize you may be experiencing challenges in online teaching, and in the management of your students and families at home. We’d like you to know that our Foundation is planning to offer you professional development workshops this summer either via webinars or, if possible, in a conference space.
Internships for students of Italian in high school and college are in formation. If you know of any businesses or organizations where Italian products are produced and/or sold, please do send us their contact information, and we will try to arrange internships.
As always, the Italian Language Foundation will continue to offer its cash Awards for Excellence for students of AP Italian who earn a 3, 4, or 5 on the AP Italian exam. Please note, that beginning in 2021, the Awards for Excellence will be administered only to those students whose teachers are members of the Italian Language Foundation. (Student membership is free, and Teacher members requires a modest $25 fee annually.)
